Payment is expected at the time of service. To secure any appointment, a valid credit card is required at the time of booking. We accept cash, credit cards, or payment via Venmo, Zelle, or CashApp. We do not accept checks. We do not extend credit terms.
We understand that life happens and sometimes appointments need to be canceled. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you let us know at least 48 hours in advance, so that we may attempt to fill your appointment slot. If notification requirements are not met, you will be charged a fee of 50% of the full service price.
Clients who miss their appointment without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service(s). We recognize the time of our clients and therapists is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, our therapists not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. Additionally, many times our therapists will be functioning in an “on call” status and may have traveled to the spa specifically for your service. For these reasons, we are obligated to compensate our therapists for their time.
Please have your intake and consent forms completed (linked in your confirmation text/email) and plan to be at the location of your service at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. All treatment sessions have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service may be shortened in order to keep on schedule and the original reservation fee will be charged.
For your relaxation, enjoyment and privacy, we thank you for not speaking on your cell phone during your treatment. Please arrive clean and avoid strong perfumes or scents to maintain a comfortable environment for all.
Clients are required to provide their health history, which is essential for ensuring that the massage therapy is appropriate and safe. Intake forms are digital and must be filled out online prior to your appointment time. If the forms are not filled out prior to your appointment time, the time used to complete these forms will be deducted from your treatment time.
These forms include any existing conditions, medications, surgeries, or prior injuries. It is the responsibility of the client to keep the therapist informed of any changes in health conditions.
Please note that we require a doctor’s note that states the doctor is aware of and agrees to the desired treatment for any clients undergoing chemo and/or radiation therapies, or other conditions currently being monitored by a medical professional.
Clients will sign an informed consent form before the start of their first session. This ensures that they understand the nature of the massage therapy provided and any potential risks.
Gratuities are NOT automatically added to the cost of your services. While not expected, gratuities are always appreciated and are at the sole discretion of the client to determine the gratuity they wish to leave their therapist.
Soma and Sound does not offer services to anyone under the age of 16. Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
We have a zero tolerance policy for consuming alcohol or other substances immediately prior to and during your treatment as these can affect the safety of the service we provide.
All sales are final once service has been rendered. That said, we want you to have an amazing experience! If your service does not meet your expectations, please let us know during your treatment or within 24 hours after your visit. We will do our best to address your concerns and come to a fair and satisfactory resolution.

Clients may contact us during normal business hours for questions or to schedule appointments. After-hours communication is reserved for emergencies or urgent situations only.
For the health and safety of our clients and staff, our therapists have the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated or if their state of health may influence the effects of the service. If this happens, you will be charged in full for the scheduled service(s) and you will not be permitted to return.
Only agents of Soma and Sound with traceable logins have access to your appointment, contact, or payment history. Your information is never sold or shared and is always kept private for your protection. We treat all client visits and conditions as confidential. As such, we will not discuss your visit with anybody outside of our therapists without your express permission. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in providing us with the information we need to best serve you.
