Biofield Tuning
Biofield Tuning is a gentle yet powerful way to support your body and energy. Because formal research is limited, we recommend starting with shorter sessions to see how your body responds. If you have any concerns, please check in with your healthcare provider. We share this information to help you make an informed choice and to support your well-being.
For clients with active cancer or undergoing treatment, the body’s detox pathways may be limited, making it harder to process energetic input from Biofield Tuning. Tumors may also be sensitive, so we avoid applying tuning forks directly on/over them. These considerations do not apply to cancer that is in remission.
While Biofield Tuning can help calm the nervous system and support a peaceful transition, it may overwhelm end-of-life bodies that are in a depleted energetic state, and detox-related effects could be uncomfortable if the body lacks the resources to manage them.
During acute or advanced illness, Biofield Tuning may sometimes cause uncomfortable detox or heightened symptoms. Supporting your healing often works best as part of a multi-modal approach.
During pregnancy, the body uses a tremendous amount of energy, and Biofield Tuning may be overwhelming. Detox effects could affect both mother and baby. Gentle use of components like weighted forks for short periods has been used safely to promote relaxation.
Tuning forks may affect electrical medical devices (pacemakers, pumps, neural implants) due to added vibrations. While newer devices have not shown ill effects, proceed with caution and under guidance from your healthcare provider.
After a significant brain injury, it’s best to wait about three (3) months before receiving Biofield Tuning on or near the head, though gentle tuning on the rest of the body may be used sooner. Each case is unique, and mild concussions may allow limited tuning before three months.
If you have a history of seizures, Biofield Tuning may occasionally activate past seizure activity stored in your energy field. Always let your practitioner know your history and comfort level.
For remote/distance sessions: For your safety, we recommend having someone nearby during your session.
A Biofield Tuning session can sometimes release toxins from cells, which may cause temporary discomfort. Individuals with heavy metal exposure may experience stronger detox responses. You may find it helpful to support your body with additional practices, such as supplements, during this process—please consult your healthcare provider for guidance.
The use of some techniques, such as the application of weighted forks on the body, can cause discomfort or adverse effects in some cases. Please advise your practitioner if you have any of the following.
Gentle work around spider veins is usually safe. Firm pressure over varicose veins could cause complications, so let your practitioner know.
Vibrations from weighted forks may feel uncomfortable and could affect the natural healing process.
Chipped or broken teeth or fragments in the gums may shift slightly with vibration.
Rods, screws, or plates may be sensitive during tuning.
Medications that affect brain chemistry can make progress slower or more gradual. For long-term or severe mental health concerns, we recommend working alongside your healthcare team.
