If you’re managing chronic pain and using a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you may be able to use those funds toward therapeutic services at Soma and Sound Healing. We’re happy to make the process simple, so you can focus on feeling better—naturally.
All Soma and Sound Healing Services Are HSA/FSA Eligible
We offer a range of therapeutic services—including massage and sound healing—that qualify as eligible medical expenses under most HSA/FSA plans. These include:
- Therapeutic and Deep Tissue Massage
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage
- Cupping
- Sound Healing
- Prenatal Massage
You can pay directly with your HSA or FSA card at checkout when booking online, or present it at the time of your session.
Receipts and CPT Codes for Reimbursement
Need to submit your session for reimbursement? We provide itemized receipts with CPT codes so your HSA/FSA provider has all the documentation they need. Inform your therapist at the time of service or contact us to obtain one.
Do You Need a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN)?
Some insurance plans may require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from your doctor in order to approve therapeutic massage or bodywork for reimbursement. The date of treatment must post date the LMN in order to be approved.
It’s your responsibility to check with your plan administrator if an LMN is required.
Here’s a simple template you can bring to your doctor:
